These Terms & Conditions govern your use of 24scan’s fraud detection and IP intelligence services. By accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using 24scan ("Service", "we", "our", or "us"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using our services immediately.
2. Service Description
24scan provides API-driven fraud prevention and IP reputation services, which may include:
- Real-time IP fraud and risk scoring
- Transaction and login risk analysis
- Threat intelligence and behavioral pattern detection
- Integration via REST API and SDKs
- Reports, analytics, and monitoring dashboards
3. User Responsibilities
When using our Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate registration and billing details
- Keep account credentials secure and confidential
- Use the Service only for lawful, legitimate business purposes
- Respect usage limits set by your subscription plan
- Notify us of unauthorized account activity immediately
4. Prohibited Uses
You may not use 24scan for any of the following activities:
- Engaging in unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity
- Reselling or redistributing our API without authorization
- Scraping, reverse-engineering, or interfering with our systems
- Exceeding fair usage limits or attempting to bypass security controls
- Using data provided by 24scan to harass or discriminate against individuals
5. Payment & Subscription
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- All fees are non-refundable, except as required by law
- Overage fees may apply if you exceed plan limits
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice
- Non-payment may result in suspension or termination of service
6. Refunds & Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription anytime through your account dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Refunds are only provided where required by law or explicitly stated in a promotion or agreement.
7. Data Usage & Privacy
Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. In summary:
- We process IP and transaction data strictly for fraud detection
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- We never sell personal information to third parties
- You retain ownership of your data and may request deletion
8. Service Availability
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, 24scan is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
9. Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the past 12 months
- Fraud detection is not 100% accurate; false positives/negatives may occur
10. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including algorithms, software, trademarks, and documentation, remain the exclusive property of 24scan. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement:
- You may cancel via your dashboard at any time
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment or policy violations
- Data export is available for 30 days following termination
12. International Users
If you access 24scan from outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with local laws. Data transfers will follow applicable international data protection requirements.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be effective upon posting, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under U.S. law.
